Which media server do you recommend — LiveKit, mediasoup or Kurento?

For most new platforms in 2026 we start from a modern SFU: LiveKit when you want a batteries-included, scalable stack with SDKs and SIP interop, mediasoup when you need a lean, high-performance SFU core. Kurento remains the right niche answer when heavy server-side media processing is the actual requirement. We have built with LiveKit, and our deepest production operating experience is in media pipelines — so the recommendation comes from running these things, not from a comparison chart.

We run a legacy Kurento platform — can you help?

Yes, in both directions. We can operate and stabilize an existing Kurento estate (a skill that is getting hard to hire for), and we plan and execute migrations to modern stacks — mapping recording, RTP/SIP bridging and in-pipeline processing onto LiveKit- or mediasoup-based architectures without losing the features that made you choose Kurento originally.

Do you support live captions and translation inside video calls?

Yes. We have built live multilingual captioning and translation for video consultations in 15 languages, including Indian languages, using Whisper ASR — running self-hosted, so audio never leaves the client's infrastructure.

Does "real-time communication" mean video only?

No. It covers the whole real-time surface we engineer: video and audio over WebRTC, telephony interop via SIP, live captioning and translation in the media path, recording and queue management. Video consultation is the application we have taken furthest in production.

Can AI analyze the video stream itself, not just the audio?

Yes. We have built AI damage analysis on live insurance video calls using a self-hosted open vision-language model, feeding frames from the media pipeline to the model in real time.

Do you also operate the platform after launch?
