We run transcription on our own servers instead of renting cloud capacity per request, and we don't carry venture-scale margins. Same class of models — frontier-grade transcription plus frontier LLMs — at a price a small German company can honestly sustain.
Whitespace-separated tokens in the transcribed output. Reshape, Translate, and Fix-grammar quick-actions on already-typed text don't count toward the limit; only voice transcriptions do.
Over TLS to our own API, transcribed on servers we operate, and discarded the moment the transcript returns — zero seconds of retention. A cloud fallback exists but is off by default and only ever used with your explicit consent; the full sub-processor list is in our Privacy Policy.
Yes — our transcription engine handles German fluently, the rewrite model recognises German vocabulary and brand spellings, and Translate works in any pair. The desktop UI is currently English; a German UI is in the works.
Yes. During early access everything is free — there's nothing to cancel. Once billing launches you can cancel any time from Settings → Account and keep access to the end of the paid period. No lock-in, no retention calls.
